On December 28, 2024, the students and faculty of The New Kerala Public School, Fatuha embarked on a remarkable educational tour to Bodh Gaya, a destination known for its profound historical and spiritual significance. This trip was a perfect opportunity for our students to learn beyond the classroom and explore the heritage of one of the most revered sites in the world.

1. Visit to the Mahabodhi Temple: The students were awestruck by the grandeur of the Mahabodhi Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. They learned about its rich history and its importance as the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment under the sacred Bodhi Tree.

2. Exploring the Bodhi Tree: Standing in the presence of the ancient Bodhi Tree was a humbling experience for all. Our students reflected on the values of peace, wisdom, and compassion that this site symbolizes.

3. Cultural and Spiritual Insights: The tour included visits to various monasteries and shrines representing different cultures and Buddhist traditions. This exposure allowed students to understand the global impact of Buddhism and the unity in diversity.
